If you follow my blog you’ll know I haven’t been very consistent lately.
Between work, kids’ activities, my own french classes and everything else going on in life, I haven’t carved out much time for this blog lately.
I wanted to create a short post I could write up quickly each month to talk about some of my favourite products in the moment.
I decided this first post would have a theme, especially if any last-minute Christmas shoppers are looking for something unique to give as a gift.
To be honest, I’ve only tried Les Coconuts deodorant, but it’s my favourite. I never found other deodorants did the trick unless I carried a stick with me and reapplied throughout the day. Les Coconut deodorant is different. It really does work well, and I love that it’s all-natural.
I’m sure the rest of the products are great as well. All products and their containers are made in North America, and I love that you can order refill packs and reuse the deodorant container.
I have written about Mini Mioche before, and I still love this company! All Mini Mioche items are made in Canada from start to finish. My favourite is the happy romper. My son has already had three, and the fleece happy romper is my fav. For one, it’s not the fleece you might think of at first. It’s 100% organic cotton fleece – cozy sweatshirt material.
One note – we always size up. My son just turned two and still fits into most of his 24-month clothing, but his happy romper is a size 3 and it’s not huge. He definitely has room to grow in it, but he’s not drowning in extra material. If you already size-up for your child, go up two sizes!
The sweatshirt dress is also really cozy!
I’ve been meaning to write a review about this product but life has been a bit nuts lately. But I can tell you, I just ordered my second jar of this stuff! I was attracted to it as a lotion to combat eczema in my children, but it also works well as a diaper cream, lip balm, and relief for my dry hands!
I also love that it was developed and is made by a mother looking for a natural solution for her own son’s severe eczema. It’s made with three ingredients: Sweet Almond Oil, Canadian Beeswax, and Cocoa Butter.
I discovered Truly Charlotte at an Etsy craft sale and immediately bought three of her adorable stuffies. I adore the vikings with the beards! They look straight out of a bedtime story we read to big G: The Princess and the Pony.
I was looking through Truly Charlotte’s photos the other day, trying to think of what I’d like to buy a friend who’s expecting and it’s so hard to decide! The tigers are adorable, but what about the chickens? And the pigs!
Bonus: the toys are made from recycled wool sweaters and blankets.
If you knew me, you’d know I couldn’t write this post without mentioning Mother ease. They are still our go-to cloth diapers we use every day. When a friend said she wanted to try cloth with her second child, I had to buy her some from their new fashionables line. Though, I still love the solid covers the most.
